KUALA LUMPUR (Daily Express): MIMOS, the national research and development centre in ICT and Kontron Asia Pacific Design (KAD), have signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) to develop new technologies for the benefit of the local healthcare industry.

The companies said this collaborative research and development agreement (CRADA) would see MIMOS and KAD developing new technologies to provide wireless and broadband internet access for the betterment of the healthcare industry.

(Berita Harian) – Pusat penyelidikan dan pembangunan kebangsaan, MIMOS memeterai memorandum perjanjian (MoA) dengan Kontron Asia Pacific Design Sdn Bhd (KAD) bagi membangunkan teknologi baru industri penjagaan kesihatan tempatan.

Menerusi perjanjian usaha sama dalam penyelidikan dan pembangunan berkenaan, MIMOS dan KAD akan membangunkan teknologi sambungan tanpa wayar dan jalur lebar bagi menambah baik industri penjagaan kesihatan.

KUALA LUMPUR, 17 Mei (Bernama) — MIMOS, Institut Sistem Mikroelektronik Malaysia, dan Kontron Asia Pacific Design (KAD), menandatangani Memorandum Perjanjian (MoA) untuk membangunkan teknologi baharu untuk manfaat industri penjagaan kesihatan tempatan.

Kedua-duanya berkata perjanjian usaha sama dalam penyelidikan dan pembangunan (CRADA) ini akan menyaksikan MIMOS dan KAD memajukan teknologi baharu bagi menyediakan akses Internet jalur lebar dan tanpa wayar untuk industri penjagaan kesihatan yang lebih baik.

GEORGE TOWN: The Northern Corridor Implementation Authority (NCIA) is enhancing the ecosystem of electrical and electronics (E&E) industry in a bid to promote new growth areas.

Pihak Berkuasa Pelaksanaan Koridor Utara (NCIA) sedang mempertingkatkan ekosistem industri elektrik dan elektronik (E&E) dalam usahanya mempromosikan bidang pertumbuhan baru.

Ketua Eksekutifnya, Datuk Redza Rafiq, berkata ekosistem yang lengkap dalam E&E akan membuka bidang pertumbuhan tinggi seperti diod pemancar cahaya (LED), solar, peralatan perubatan, aeroangkasa, bioteknologi dan teknologi berasaskan pertanian.

It’s not enough to provide the proper facilities and flexible work arrangements. If companies really hope to attract women back into the workforce, there will have to be a cultural shift in Malaysia so that the bulk of child and elderly
care does not fall heavily on women’s shoulders.

Although the government next generation provides incentives for women to reenter the workforce after having taken a career break, it’s not a straight forward matter.

Most companies would be glad to welcome their returnees,provided that these women stayed in touch and kept themselves current in terms of their domain knowledge.

MIMOS Inks MoA with NIDA to Establish an ICT Research, Development Institute in Cambodia

KUALA LUMPUR, April 15 (Bernama) — MIMOS Bhd (MIMOS) and National Information Communications Technology Development Authority of Cambodia (NIDA) have signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) to establish an ICT Research and Development Institute (CIRDI) in Cambodia.

Under the MoA, MIMOS would assist NIDA to set up CIRDI by facilitating proof-of-concept projects and providing training, study tours, guidance and mentoring to develop a research and development agenda for CIRDI, said Mimos in a statement Monday.
