Applied research body MIMOS Berhad wants its centres of excellence (COE) to be more than mere research centres and help in building the local IT industry.
Its president and chief executive officer, Datuk Abdul Wahab Abdullah said some of the centres of excellence which are set up in collaboration with multinational companies (MNCs), need to share their expertise with local IT scene.
