Microenergy is one of the latest additions to MIMOS technology thrust areas.  The MIMOS Microenergy Cluster develops renewable energy harvester and energy harvesting technologies and practices, and advances related to science and engineering. Our capabilities are positioned to advance the national energy and environmental goals by developing innovations to change the way we power electronic gadgets today.

The cluster aims to be a reference point in renewable energy and energy efficiency R&D supporting green technology. Our focused research areas; covering chemical-, solar-, thermal- and piezoelectric-based energy harvester; aim to power up portable and remote electronic devices for wireless sensor networks in Precision Agriculture, Aquaculture, Environment, and Biomedical Applications. MIMOS aspires to create a common platform for hybrid energy harvester for various research institutions, universities and industries for microenergy collaboration.
