Micro Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS) technology is now known to be at the center of a rapidly emerging industry that combines various engineering disciplines & physics which include electrical, electronic, mechanical, optical, material, chemical, and fluidic engineering disciplines. The minituarised, integrated, robust and highly accurate MEMS Sensor is able to collect various in-field data including ambient and soil temperature, humidity, soil moisture, pH and macronutrients. This data is relayed through Wireless Sensor Network technologies and displayed on the computer or mobile device, allowing the farm manager to monitor the crops from virtually anywhere in the world. The semantic platform then enables Decision Support System (DSS) that provides vital information such as weather forecast, diseases analysis, and current market prices. Combination of these technology platforms feature an intelligent farming management in real time monitoring, which means that farm managers now have total control of the crops and able to make fast and reliable decision for the best of their interest.
