Fire safety at MIMOS is regarded as much more than a set of written procedures; it is an important pillar of our organisational resilience. To reinforce this commitment, the Annual Fire Drill was conducted on 18 December 2025, serving as a comprehensive exercise in awareness, practice, and real-time readiness. The drill was meticulously designed to ensure that every employee is equipped to respond with calm precision and confidence should an emergency arise. Stepping out of the office and into a practical simulation, the MIMOS community demonstrated that safety is a shared responsibility that requires constant vigilance and active participation.
The exercise involved structured briefings and guided evacuations that led staff through designated safety protocols and assembly points. Beyond the technicalities of evacuation routes, the drill placed emphasis on the power of teamwork and swift coordination. MIMOSians engaged in simulations that highlighted how clear communication and mutual support can drastically minimise risks during a crisis. This hands-on approach effectively transformed theoretical knowledge into instinctive action, further embedding a robust culture of safety across all levels of the organisation.
The successful completion of this year’s drill not only verified the efficiency of our emergency infrastructure but also strengthened the bonds of trust between colleagues. As we move forward, the lessons learned from this simulation will remain a core part of our operational mindset, ensuring that a secure and prepared environment remains the foundation upon which our technological innovations are built.
