A large portion of MIMOS R&D output goes towards the attainment of social and community objectives. MIMOS collaborates with other government agencies as well as the private sector in supporting Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI)’s Social Innovation programme, which is a continuous initiative where the Ministry outreaches and interfaces directly with grassroot communities with the aim to humanise grassroot innovations. In interfacing with the community, MIMOS plays a role as technology provider, integrator and project manager.
