Job Purpose

To ensure accurate and timely processing of all supplier invoices, staff claims, and payment transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures. The Accounts Payable Executive plays a key role in maintaining strong vendor relationships, ensuring proper financial documentation, and supporting the overall efficiency of the finance and accounting function.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data entry of all Account Payables (AP) invoices for MIMOS and subsidiaries- Vendor Invoices and Manual Staff Claims. Verifying entered account assignment by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or re-entering data. Preparing, matching and submitting invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. (50%)

2. Reconciling vendor statements and resolving any discrepancies. (15%)

3. Assisting with month-end closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations and issuance of Debit Note/ Credit Note for inter-company transactions. (15%)

4. Reconciling the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted (5%)

5. Assisting with Yearly audit exercise and processes as needed, by preparing Audit Schedules and assisting in providing Auditors with documents to be vouched. (5%)

6. Assisting with Yearly Tax filing exercise and processes as needed, by preparing Tax Schedules and response to Tax Agent queries. (5%)

7. Provide Customer Service to both internal staff and external vendors. To address inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner to maintain strong relationships. (5%)

8. Providing occasional administrative support and ad-hoc tasks. (5%)

Qualifications

• Possess Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent.

Relevant Work Experience

• Minimum of 1 year experience in Account Payable

Required Competencies and Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel
• Proficient in Accounting Software, preferably SAP
• Knowledge of relevant accounting principles and regulations.

Soft Skills

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Time management
