MIMOS and the Malaysia Smart Cities Alliance (MSCA) successfully hosted a dynamic Smart City Solution Showcase & BizPitching event right here at MIMOS Berhad on 18 September 2025.
This high-energy event was a major highlight, bringing together industry leaders and featuring an impressive delegation of 10 innovative Canadian companies, including firms like Illumia Lab, OpenText, and Reliable Controls. Kicking off with welcome remarks from Canada’s High Commissioner, Her Excellency Jodi Robinson, the session was a vibrant platform for exchanging ideas and exploring future collaborations in urban technology.
The event was far from a traditional seminar, incorporating 10-minute BizPitching sessions where the Canadian firms presented their cutting-edge smart-city technologies and partnership opportunities.
This format, combined with interactive Q&A discussions and a mini-exhibition, created a valuable networking environment. By facilitating this international exchange, MIMOS and MSCA not only showcased local innovations at the Smart Cities Expo Kuala Lumpur 2025 but also successfully connected Malaysian stakeholders with global solutions, paving the way for collaborative development that will define the future of Malaysia’s smart urban centres.
