The spirit of adventure and national pride ran high among MIMOS staff and alumni, driven by the activities of the Kelab Kebajikan Rekreasi MIMOS (KKRM). In a feat of endurance and teamwork, a courageous team successfully reached the summit of Mount Kinabalu, conquering the highest peak in Southeast Asia on 8 September 2025. Closer to home, in the spirit of Merdeka and Malaysia Day, KKRM organised the Konvoi Motosikal Tanjung Piai Johor on 6 to 9 September, which included a meaningful visit to the Galeri Darurat Bukit Kepong on 7 September, connecting staff with Malaysia’s historical heritage and fostering a sense of shared identity and patriotism.
Beyond the high-stakes world of R&D, MIMOS ensured a strong commitment to work-life balance and team well-being. This was perfectly exemplified by the memorable team trip to Royal Belum, Perak, held from 24 to 27 October 2025. This fun, rejuvenating trip provided MIMOS staff with a chance to unplug, connect with nature, and engage in team-building activities in a relaxed environment.
These employee-centric efforts, from historical tours to challenging climbs and nature getaways, are key to nurturing healthy work balance, positive team spirit, and the necessary resilience to drive MIMOS’ national mission forward.
