Enhancing capacity and capability

Training In MIMOS | Continuing its capacity and capability-building initiatives, MIMOS hosted training courses for industry players and future talents to assist them in developing knowledge and skills in the E&E domains. Apart from that, MIMOS also provided health, safety and environment (HSE)-training to equip its staff with basic occupational first aid skills.

  • Overview of IC Design

On January 19, Universiti Malaysia Sabah students attended the Overview of Integrated Circuit (IC) Design Training where they learned about IC Design, Analog and Digital IC Design (Front End and Back End).

  • PSF Training – Digital Front End Design

Post-School Finishing Training is one of the courses that assists the younger E&E generation enhance their technical skills. Held on March 10, participants from universities and industries were given an overview and practical module of digital back end design.

  • HSE Training

On February 9 and 10, MIMOS First Aider team was given training sessions on basic occupational first aid, cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the use of automated external defibrillator. The training was in line with the Department of Occupational Safety and Health guidelines which stipulates the requirement for the First Aider team to provide initial treatment to persons suffering from injury or illness at a workplace before qualified health personnel are able to attend to the patients.
