MIMOS played a key role in global capacity building by successfully hosting an intensive Wafer Fabrication Training Programme for a delegation from the Centre for Development of Advanced Technologies (CDTA), Algeria, which concluded with a closing ceremony on 7 November 2025.
The programme, delivered by experts from MIMOS’ Semiconductor Technology Centre (STC), was a comprehensive immersion covering Health & Safety, Facility/Equipment operations, and the full Wafer Fabrication process, combining theoretical knowledge with valuable hands-on experience in our world-class facilities.
This initiative, marked by a meet-and-greet with Dr Saat Shukri Embong, President & Group CEO, MIMOS, on 8 November 2025, powerfully reflects MIMOS’ commitment to international knowledge exchange and advancing global technological proficiency in semiconductor manufacturing.
On the domestic front, MIMOS continued to empower the local workforce with practical digital skills through the second session of its Power BI Data Analyst training on 15 October 2025.
This focused course was specifically designed to enhance data-driven productivity by introducing participants to the essential Power BI tools, effective data visualisation techniques, and hands-on data analysis activities. By providing this relevant, in-demand training, MIMOS is directly contributing to the upskilling of the local workforce, ensuring professionals are equipped to translate data into strategic business insights.
