MIMOS marked its 40th Anniversary with a special celebration that fused fun, fitness, and core organisational values: the Integrity Treasure Hunt & Amazing Race 2025. Organised collaboratively by the Integrity & Ethics Unit (IEU) and the KKRM Sports Recreation & Culture Bureau, this event brought together 60 enthusiastic MIMOSians, who were divided into six teams representing their Sport Houses: Red Titans, Thunderclaw, and Sonics.
The celebration served as a vibrant and energetic platform to reinforce the spirit of teamwork and an unwavering, shared commitment to integrity, the cornerstone of four decades of innovation and service.
The event’s key objective was to cultivate ethical behaviour and enhance integrity awareness through interactive and gamified challenges. Teams raced across the MIMOS campus, facing six distinct challenges that tested their wit and endurance.
These challenges ranged from the physical ‘Pipeline of Honesty’ (transferring ping pong balls) and a ‘Word Puzzle’ to intellectual and observational missions, including identifying the wafer product size and cleanroom temperature in FAB 2.
The competition was fierce, but the camaraderie remained strong throughout. The integrity-themed checkpoints successfully strengthened a culture of transparency, accountability, and ethical practices through fun organisational discovery.
After a day of strategic problem-solving and spirited racing, the winners were announced based on finding the Integrity Champion: Sonics took first place, followed by Thunderclaw in second, and Red Titans secured third place. The high energy, laughter, and genuine workplace bonding made the Integrity Treasure Hunt & Amazing Race a memorable highlight of MIMOS’ 40th-anniversary celebration.
