On 2 October 2025, the MIMOS Technology Preview (MTP) 2025 was launched by Deputy Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), YB Dato’ Haji Mohammad Yusof bin Apdal, marking MIMOS Berhad’s 40th Anniversary. The annual MTP serves as a platform for collaboration among government, industry, academia, and civil society, showcasing cutting-edge, industry-ready solutions developed through MIMOS’ applied R&D. This year’s event unveiled more than 25 newly developed technologies, demonstrating Malaysia’s capability to deliver tangible solutions across various domains.
MTP 2025 strongly embodied the theme ‘Power Up Your Business with Market-Ready Tech and Unrivalled Partnership’, formalising collaborations through several document exchange ceremonies that operate under the Quadruple Helix model. This model brings together government, industry, academia, and civil society to accelerate innovation, investment, and national growth. A special feature of the event was the celebration of the appointment of MIMOS Industry Advocacy Group (IAG) Fellows, who are recognised industry and academic leaders. These Tier-1 Fellows are invited to shape the nation’s technology trajectory, helping frame national priorities and guide policies that impact various sectors.
