On 3 September 2025, MIMOS Berhad marked a significant advancement in its operational excellence by launching two pivotal initiatives designed to institutionalise innovation across the organisation. The MIMOS Innovation Policy was formally introduced to establish a unified, strategic direction for management, centred around six core principles, including Value Creation, Strategic Alignment, and Open Collaboration. Concurrently, the RDCI Portal was officially unveiled, creating a centralised reference hub to strengthen the Research–Development–Commercialisation–Innovation (RDCI) cycle and drive measurable impact.
These initiatives are vital steps in developing the MIMOS Innovation Management System (MiMS), transitioning the organisation to a structured, lifecycle-driven framework aligned with the ISO 56001 standard. This transformation enhances MIMOS’ readiness to compete on national and global innovation fronts while reinforcing its role as a key catalyst in Malaysia’s technology ecosystem.
Furthering this commitment to modernisation, MIMOS also announced the debut of the RDCI AI Agent, developed using the Microsoft platform. This innovative tool represents a breakthrough in intelligent automation for innovation governance, designed to streamline organisational knowledge access and accelerate the retrieval of process assets. The AI-driven capability strengthens decision-making accuracy and efficiency, positioning the RDCI AI Agent as a pivotal enabler for next-generation innovation management.
