MIMOS Berhad’s Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE) department championed environmental awareness and sustainable practices among its staff through several impactful initiatives. In conjunction with Environment Month, the HSE team led a ‘Dine-In Without Plastic’ initiative every Friday, encouraging all employees to bring their own reusable cutlery, containers, and mugs. This simple but powerful action has already made a significant impact, with an estimated 1,200+ single-use plastic items being prevented from being used and discarded.
The momentum continued when MIMOS organised a Plastic Collection Drive campaign, held on 28 July 2025, encouraging all MIMOSians to responsibly dispose of their clean and dry plastic waste from both home and office for proper recycling. As a token of appreciation for their efforts, each participant received a Green Token to demonstrate their commitment to a greener earth. These initiatives demonstrate MIMOS’ commitment to building a greener, healthier workplace and prove that every small action counts in making a positive impact on the planet.
