KUALA LUMPUR: MIMOS Bhd, the national research and development (R&D) centre in information and communications technology (ICT), yesterday signed a memorandum of agreement with the Sudanese Africa City of Technology (ACT) to establish a joint venture company aimed at nurturing Sudan’s ICT industry.
MIMOS President and Chief Executive Officer Datuk Abdul Wahab Abdullah said the joint venture, scheduled to be set up in the first quarter of next year, would see the involvement of MIMOS as a mentor to ACT by sharing its open innovation platform to help Sudan kick start its ICT industry.
