MIMOS President and Group Chief Executive Officer, Dr Saat Shukri Embong, was honoured with the MADANI Digital Transformation & Innovation Leadership Award 2025 at the prestigious MADANI Business Awards on 28 November 2025.
Under the theme ‘Excellence with Values,’ the MADANI Business Awards recognised more than 50 top leaders and companies for their commitment to responsible and value-driven business. The selection process, which included rigorous evaluation by expert panels across categories like the Premier Excellence Award and Industry Excellence Award, prioritised compassion and trustworthiness as core principles, ensuring honourees are those who uphold fairness, ethics, and responsibility while driving commercial success.
Dr Shukri’s win is a direct reflection of his visionary leadership and his unwavering, disciplined commitment to advancing Malaysia’s technology and innovation landscape on a national scale.
He is widely recognised as a pivotal force driving Malaysia’s digital future. His leadership has been instrumental in spearheading critical national projects, including MyDigital ID, the National E&E Roadmap 2021–2030, and high-impact initiatives across strategic sectors. These areas include Artificial Intelligence (AI), semiconductors, advanced electronics, 4IR technologies, Blockchain, strategic ICT infrastructures, and next-generation quantum-intelligent systems.
This award, presented by TYT Tun Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Ali Bin Mohd Rustam, Yang Dipertua Negeri Melaka, celebrated not just Dr Shukri’s dedication and hard work, but his powerful embodiment of the Malaysia MADANI spirit, ensuring that MIMOS remains at the forefront of national competitiveness and technological excellence.
