Keeping employees safe and healthy during COVID-19 crisis is one of MIMOS’ top priorities. With the reactivation of Return to Work (RTW), MIMOS has taken extra preventive measures to ensure the office environment is safe amid the pandemic, and organised several programmes that promote wellness.
On a Wednesday evening of December 15, about 100 MIMOSians joined the Brisk Walk programme which took place within the MIMOS corporate building compound. The programme was part of the agency’s initiative to promote a healthier lifestyle as brisk walk has been proven to help build stamina, burn calories and make the heart stronger.
- Improving workplace safety
Each main meeting room in MIMOS has been installed with a sensor to measure carbon dioxide levels. Apart from that, COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test Kits (RTK) have been made available to all MIMOS staff for COVID-19 self-screening.
MIMOS also held a webinar on mental health, ergonomic at the workplace and road safety issues on October 6, 7 and 13. The webinar featured experts from National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) and Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research (MIROS).
