Security Executive

Job Purpose

• Responsible for leading the Security Units in MIMOS Technology Park Malaysia, and MIMOS Kulim Hi-Tech Park in the daily operations and maintenance of the physical security systems to ensure full compliance to MIMOS Security procedures. Reports directly to MIMOS HSSE and Security Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage security related matters systematically. le Surveilance System CCTV/D Access/Vechile Registration Database.
• Security Planning: Developing security plans and protocols tailored to MIMOS specific needs and requirements.
• Physical Security: Implementing measures to protect the physical security and assets which include among others to secure the access into MIMOS premises, offices, labs, warehouse and other work areas.
• Threat Detection: Monitoring for any potential physical security threats or suspicious activity.
• Emergency Response: Being prepared to respond swiftly and effectively to any security incidents or emergencies that may arise.
• Security Training: Providing training and guidance to the supervisors and their staff on security best practices and emergency procedures.
• Coordination with Law Enforcement: Collaborating with law enforcement and other authorities as necessary to address security concerns and mitigate the risks.
• Continuous Assessment and Improvement: Regularly reviewing and updating security measures to adapt to changing threats and circumstances.
• Conduct risk assessment related to physical security threats and prepare for the risk mitigation plans.
• Conduct investigation and recommendations on any incident related to the breach of security procedures.
• Provide regular awareness to MIMOS staff on the security procedures to inculcate the MIMOS security culture.
• Administer the assigning all system equipment are aways in a functional mode and readily for deployment as and when required.
• Assist the Security Management in reviewing the policies and SOP to ensure best practices and compliance to MIMOS security requirements.

Qualification

• Possess Diploma or Executive Diploma in Security Management or related fields.

Work Experience

• Professional certification in Security Management or relevant experience in the uniformed forces such as PDRM or Armed Forces.

Skills

• Knowledge in handling all security systems.
• Knowledge in emergency and crisis management plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic First Aider
• Proficiency in the use of MS Office software.
• Strong participation problem solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Frequency

• Kulim Hi-Tech Park with average frequency of 1 once a month.
