This collaboration reinforces the need for the industry to seek synergies and optimise the resources available within the country, thereby reducing the manufacturing costs.
With PowerMOS and other existing technology platforms in MIMOS, together with its world-class R&D wafer fab facility, MIMOS is positioned to support the Fabless IC design houses, local universities, research institutions and SMEs in product developments for a wide spectrum of Integrated Circuits. This will enable the industry in general to utilise local experts, hence significantly reducing its cost of production and imports.
