Two agreements and MoUs were signed Tuesday between Malaysian companies and their counterparts from Kazakhstan. The deals that are set to take economic ties between the two nations to greater heights were witnessed by Malaysia’s International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed and Kazakhstan’s Industry and New Technologies Minister Asset Issekeshev here.
Earlier, both ministers chaired a bilateral meeting, attended by officials attached to the trade and investment divisions from both countries.
The first agreement was between MIMOS Bhd and the Kazakh Research Institute of Information Technologies to establish the Centre of Excellence on Cloud Computing and establish joint venture to access the Kazakh commercial project.
