Throughout July and August 2025, MIMOS Berhad launched and conducted a fully funded DDTM SolidWorks Certification Programme to enhance the digital design capabilities of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across Malaysia. This initiative, which had a limited intake of 100 participants nationwide, offered training at fundamental, intermediate, and advanced levels to eligible Malaysians. The programme was delivered to various regions, including a three-day session with SMEs in the Northern Region from 14 to 16 July 2025 and a session with SMEs from the Eastern Region, held from 15 to 17 July 2025, at the Mangala Resort in Kuantan.
Further training sessions with SMEs and other industry players were held from 28 to 30 July 2025 at MIMOS’ Kulim Hi-Tech Park (KHTP), with a final wrap-up session on 7 August 2025. By providing this comprehensive and accessible certification, MIMOS is actively nurturing the next generation of design specialists and ensuring that SMEs are equipped with the skills and tools necessary to thrive in the digital age. This programme is a testament to MIMOS’ commitment to advancing the nation’s industrial capabilities.
