The strategic push began on 25 June 2026, when MIMOS hosted a knowledge-sharing session titled ‘Winning Strategies for High-Impact Dana PEMACU 2.0 Proposals.’ Gathering both MIMOSians and external innovators, the workshop provided actionable guidance, evaluation best practices, and proposal drafting frameworks designed to boost success rates for national innovation funding applications.
Building momentum in executive leadership development, MIMOS Academy convened the Leadership Unplugged Series 2026 on 9 July 2026. The session welcomed YBhg. Dato’ Kamarul Redzuan Muhamed, Managing Director and Group CEO of UZMA Berhad, alongside his role as a MIMOS Senior Fellow. Drawing directly from his personal corporate journey, Dato’ Kamarul offered pragmatic reflections on navigating volatile market conditions, fostering organisational resilience, and leading multi-disciplinary teams with clear strategic vision.
MIMOS Services Sdn Bhd (MSSB) extended its collaborative reach into the energy sector on 10 August 2026 by participating in the Smart Energy & Infrastructure Executive Talk 2026. Bringing together policy planners, technology providers, and infrastructure operators, the executive talk focused on real-world applications of smart grid systems, integrated digital solutions, and sustainable asset management. MSSB’s delegates engaged in meaningful exchanges regarding how cutting-edge research can directly support operational efficiency and long-term infrastructure stability.
Rounding out the series on 20 August 2026, MIMOS Senior Fellow and Oppstar Berhad Independent Non-Executive Director, YBhg. Dato’ Dr Mohd Sofi Bin Osman, delivered a keynote Unplugged Leadership Session titled ‘From Innovation to Industrial Scale: A Global Manufacturing Perspective.’ Addressing the notorious leap from prototype to mass production, YBhg Dr Mohd Sofi shared key manufacturing frameworks and commercialisation pathways required to scale local R&D onto the global stage, inspiring attendees to design technologies with end-user impact and international market viability in mind.
