As Malaysia’s national applied research and development centre, MIMOS Berhad has been active in fostering strategic partnerships with a wide range of academic and industry leaders from both Malaysia and around the world. The company recently welcomed delegations from numerous universities and organisations, including Uni-KL MIIT, Xiamen University Malaysia, University of Malaya, and Universiti Teknologi MARA, providing students and faculty with valuable exposure to cutting-edge innovations and industrial research practices.
These visits served as a vital link between academic learning and industry practices, aiming to equip students with the skills needed for future careers in advanced technology.
In addition to its focus on education, MIMOS actively explored new collaborations to drive innovation. The organisation has hosted visits from international entities such as SimPlatform Co., Ltd. of South Korea, Turkish Aerospace Industries, and Semitracks Inc. from the USA, as well as the Netherlands–Southeast Asia Semiconductor delegation. These engagements, along with visits from local partners like Akademi Sains Malaysia and NanoMalaysia Berhad, highlight MIMOS’ commitment to advancing national and regional science, technology, and innovation efforts through knowledge exchange and mutual growth.
