On 15 October 2025, MIMOS successfully arranged a workshop on ‘Shaping the Future of Supercomputing,’ uniting a diverse group of experts, leading researchers, and industry representatives. The goal of this high-level assembly was to strategically discuss the evolution and massive potential of High-Performance Computing (HPC) within Malaysia.
The workshop served as an essential platform for addressing the complexities and charting the strategic directions necessary to fully harness supercomputing’s capabilities.
Discussions focused on how advanced supercomputing infrastructure can be leveraged to drive monumental advancements across national priority areas, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), sophisticated data analytics, and transformative scientific research.
