MIMOS Berhad hosted two editions of its Tech Café series focused on enhancing workplace productivity and digital skills.
The initiative began on 13 March 2026 with a session exploring the practical applications of Microsoft Copilot, demonstrating how artificial intelligence can support daily operational tasks. Speakers Muhammad Faris Mohd Emran and Megat Muhammad Daniel Azlinzal from Group Corporate Quality shared strategies on modern workplace efficiency with the participating staff.
The series continued with a practical edition aimed at empowering teams with essential multimedia capabilities. Led by Muhammad Haziq Mohd Johan, Senior Executive from the Social Media Unit of the Corporate Communication & Identity Department (CCID) on 28 April 2026, the session was titled ‘From Idea to Visual: A Simple Video Guide’. The workshop focused on basic skills for transforming concepts into clear visual content, breaking down fundamental videography techniques to improve corporate storytelling. A key highlight of the guide featured the rule of thirds, demonstrating how placing subjects along gridlines creates more balanced and engaging frames to help attendees produce polished video content for modern communication platforms.
