KRIMS and MIMOS Rally Community Through Jualan Rahmah and Flea Markets

MIMOS, alongside its official welfare and recreation club, Kelab Kebajikan & Rekreasi MIMOS (KRIMS), and its subsidiary KRIMS Ventures, continued curating a series of community-focused initiatives designed to support local commerce and ease daily living costs for staff and nearby residents. The events began on 2 July 2026 with the Jualan Rahmah MADANI & Food Festival held on the MIMOS grounds. The gathering brought together local food entrepreneurs, agricultural suppliers, and neighbourhood vendors, delivering heavily subsidised fresh produce, pantry essentials, and prepared meals to hundreds of visitors in an energetic festival atmosphere.

Building on this success, the teams hosted an expanded iteration on 29 July 2026 titled the Jualan Rahmah MADANI Auto Fest & Food Festival. This multi-faceted event combined essential grocery relief with an interactive automotive exposition featuring car showcases and public test drives. Attendees explored local artisan stalls alongside dedicated advisory booths from financial institutions and investment firms, successfully pairing household cost mitigation with practical financial literacy resources.

Continuing this grassroots momentum, the organisers launched a lively community Flea Market on 2 September 2026. The marketplace gathered independent micro-entrepreneurs, internal staff vendors, and external commercial partners for a day of retail, networking, and cultural exchange. The event offered micro-businesses a low-barrier platform to showcase hand-crafted items, pre-loved goods, and artisanal foods directly to the public.

Through these combined community drives, MIMOS demonstrated that corporate social responsibility yields the greatest impact when addressing everyday economic realities. By combining cost-of-living relief with platforms for local enterprise and active socialisation, the organisation reinforced its role as a supportive, community-anchored institution.
