MIMOS launched a dedicated workplace wellness push aimed at fostering a healthier, more active, and preventative care-oriented corporate culture. The movement officially kicked off on 12 August 2026 with the inaugural Wellness Wednesday session, happening on the first Wednesday of the month, to bring MIMOSians out of their offices and into group physical activities designed to refresh minds, encourage teamwork, and integrate movement into daily routines.
Expanding the focus from active movement to proactive health management, MIMOS organised the PERKESO Health Screening Programme on 9 September 2026. The initiative aimed to raise awareness regarding non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and empower employees to take control of their long-term health through early detection and clinical consultation.
The screening programme provided eligible staff with fully funded diagnostic packages comprising physical examinations, full blood counts, fasting lipid profiles, HbA1c diabetes checks, and urine tests, alongside mental health assessments. Women’s health screenings, including Pap smears, iBreast checks, and mammograms, formed a core part of the preventive offerings. To guarantee complete participation, MIMOS opened self-paid packages for ineligible staff while partnering with the National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM) to deliver discounted vaccination options.
