Executive Social Media Content Creator

Job Purpose

The Content Creator (Executive Branding) is responsible for building and maintaining the professional digital identities of the CEO and the Senior Management Team (SMT). The primary goal is to position MIMOS leadership as the “Face of National R&D” through sophisticated thought leadership, strategic LinkedIn storytelling, and “Behind the Scenes” access to leadership activities.

Accountability:

• Management Narrative Strategy: Develop a “Personal Brand Roadmap” for key leaders, identifying their specific areas of expertise (e.g., AI Ethics, Semiconductor Policy, Digital Economy).
• “Day in the Life” Coverage: Accompany the CEO and Management to high-stakes meetings, international conferences, and lab visits to capture candid, humanizing content for social media.
• Media Monitoring & Positioning: Monitor global tech trends and national policy changes to provide “Real-time Commentary” drafts that the CEO can share to lead the conversation.
• Reputation Management: Curate and moderate the CEO’s professional social media profiles, ensuring high-quality engagement with industry peers, government officials, and the public.
• Speech-to-Post Conversion: Repurpose executive speeches, keynote addresses, and internal memos into bite-sized, high-impact digital content

Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field.

Work Experience

• Fresh Graduate and Proven experience as a content creator, blogger, or social media specialist with a portfolio of high-engagement posts.

Technical Skills

• Advanced Copywriting: Exceptional ability to write in a sophisticated, authoritative, yet accessible “Executive Voice” in both English and Bahasa Melayu.
• Mobile Capture & Direction: Ability to direct executives during quick video “grabs” or photo opportunities, ensuring they look professional and approachable.
• LinkedIn Algorithm Expertise: Deep knowledge of LinkedIn’s specific engagement triggers, including newsletter management and professional networking etiquette

Core Competencies

• Political & Business Acumen: Understanding of the local and global tech-political landscape (MOSTI, JPM, MOF etc.) to ensure content is diplomatically sound.
• High Emotional Intelligence (EQ): The ability to build trust with C-suite leaders, managing their time efficiently while providing honest feedback on their digital presence.
• Discretion & Confidentiality: Absolute integrity when handling sensitive information discussed in management circles or high-level meetings.
• Strategic Influence: The confidence to advise the CEO on digital trends and “on-camera” performance.
