Nominated by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), MIMOS represented Malaysia at the ASEAN–ROK STI Cooperation Forum 2026 and the 2nd ASEAN–ROK Retreat Meeting in Bangkok, Thailand, from 28 to 29 May 2026.
The event gathered technology stakeholders from across ASEAN and the Republic of Korea to identify opportunities for regional cooperation and joint research. During the sessions, the MIMOS delegation shared insights on key technology domains, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), High-Performance Computing (HPC), Biotechnology, and Semiconductors, reinforcing its role as Malaysia’s national applied R&D centre and supporting long-term regional innovation.
