Throughout July 2026, MIMOS actively drove Malaysia’s technological progression by leading high-level dialogues, showcasing cutting-edge engineering capabilities, and expanding public-private ecosystem partnerships. The strategic push opened on 8 July 2026 at the MyHDW Forum Kecemerlangan Maklumat Kesihatan 2026. En. Wan Zawawi bin Md Zin, Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer of MIMOS Solutions Sdn Bhd, joined healthcare leaders on stage to explore public-private synergies in data-driven medicine.
Shifting focus to artificial intelligence, MIMOS participated in the Malaysia Agentic AI Forum 2026 at Pullman KLCC on 15 July 2026. Speaking on the panel titled ‘Smart Nation Malaysia: Agentic AI for Government and Public Services,’ Dr Lau Phooi Yee, Senior Staff Researcher, detailed how autonomous AI systems move beyond passive assistance to execute complex operational workflows, laying the technological foundation for modernised civic administration and smarter public service delivery across the nation.
To reinforce local engineering and prototyping infrastructure, MIMOS hosted the specialised Leiterplatten-Kopierfräsen Printed Circuit Board (LPKF PCB) Prototype Workshop on 16 July 2026. The session brought together microelectronics researchers and industry engineers for technical briefings on printed circuit board design, live operational demonstrations of the state-of-the-art LPKF ProtoLaser H4 system, and guided tours of MIMOS Berhad’s advanced PCB laboratories to illustrate real-world manufacturing applications.
Closing the month with intensive industrial outreach, MIMOS’ Industrial Technology Innovation Centre (ITIC) anchored strategic regional showcases in Penang. From 22 to 24 July 2026, ITIC exhibited at the dual-header Electronics Manufacturing Expo Asia (EMAX) and Penang Manufacturing Expo (PMAX) 2026, engaging directly with global semiconductor players. ITIC capped off the month on 28 July 2026 by showcasing its technical capabilities at NCER Penang during MIMOS Digitised Design to Manufacturing Programme 2026, expanding collaborative channels with northern corridor industry leaders.
