Between June and September 2026, MIMOS significantly expanded Malaysia’s tech ecosystem by securing key industry partnerships, licensing IoT innovations, driving international cross-border collaborations, and launching semiconductor talent development initiatives to fuel long-term economic growth. MIMOS Services concluded the month on 25 June 2026 by exchanging MoUs with OVAL Success Sdn Bhd and FJ Property Management (M) Sdn Bhd.
The organisation expanded its reach into global and specialised technology markets throughout July and August. On 14 July 2026, MIMOS Holdings signed a Strategic Collaboration Agreement with South Korean firm ReFeed Inc., witnessed by officials from the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, opening doors for cross-border innovation in emerging tech. Shortly after, on 16 July 2026, MIMOS Holdings executed a Technology Licensing Agreement (TLA) with Ventura IoT Sdn Bhd to transition proprietary research into commercial Internet of Things (IoT) applications. The momentum continued into the following month when MIMOS Holdings formalised a Collaboration Agreement with Prosignal Consortium Sdn Bhd on 4 August 2026, targeting sustainable technology solutions for the broader market.
Recognising that advanced innovation requires a capable workforce, MIMOS Academy turned its focus toward high-tech talent development. On 8 September 2026, the academy joined Jabatan Tenaga Manusia (JTM) for an official MoU exchange alongside the closing ceremony of the Train-The-Trainer: Front End Wafer Fabrication Programme under the JTM and JMI Phase 2 initiative. By equipping local educators and specialists with essential semiconductor manufacturing skills, MIMOS reinforced its commitment to sustaining Malaysia’s vital microelectronics pipeline and supporting long-term economic resilience.
