MIMOS was honoured to participate as a Strategic Partner at the apex gathering of the Hari Wartawan Nasional (HAWANA) 2026 celebrations, held in Penang on 20 June 2026. Officiated by Prime Minister YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, the national event brought together prominent media figures, industry leaders, and key government representatives to recognise the critical role of journalism and public communications in Malaysia.
Representing the organisation at the event were MIMOS Deputy GCEO & Group Chief of Staff, Pn Nurezmy A. Majid, and Group Chief Technology Officer, Dr Zulaikha Kadim. Their presence highlighted MIMOS’ strategic role in bridging advanced technology with the media sector, ensuring that digital tools and homegrown research contribute directly to a secure, modernised media ecosystem.
