On 22 July 2026, MIMOS hosted a practical First Aider Awareness & Sharing Session designed to enhance emergency preparedness across its workforce. Held at the MIMOS campus, the workshop focused on equipping staff members with life-saving skills, specifically mastering Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) techniques and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) during sudden medical crises.
Certified Internal First Aider En. Mohd Isa Munir, Senior Technician at MIMOS Berhad, led the session, drawing from extensive practical experience to walk participants through critical emergency protocols. Rather than relying solely on theoretical instruction, En. Isa conducted live demonstrations on medical manikins, guiding attendees through chest compression depth, rescue breathing ratios, and the step-by-step vocal prompts used by modern AED units.
The interactive format allowed MIMOSians to practice basic life support procedures directly, building the muscle memory and mental clarity needed to manage high-pressure situations. Participants explored real-life emergency scenarios, discussing how early intervention significantly increases survival rates during cardiac arrest while professional medical teams are en route.
By investing in internal emergency awareness, MIMOS reinforced its commitment to maintaining a safe, prepared, and supportive corporate environment. The initiative ensured that employees left the session not only informed, but fully empowered to act as confident first responders when every second counts.
