MIMOS advanced its commitment to talent development by hosting the prestigious MOE-MIMOS KHTP Industry Round Table Discussion on 14 May 2026. This high-profile event focused on ‘Strengthening STEM Education Pathways’, uniting key representatives from the Ministry of Education (MOE) and prominent industry partners. The gathering provided a strategic platform for critical dialogue aimed at transforming Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) learning and equipping the next generation with future-ready skills.

MIMOS hosted a series of Tech Talk sessions between 9 and 17 March 2026 to bridge advanced engineering with commercial execution and venture investment strategies. The series commenced with global nanoelectronics expert Prof. Simon Deleonibus discussing sustainable, energy-efficient nanosystem trends, followed by Zehan Teoh, Chief Operating Officer of Intrinsic SEA Sdn Bhd, who addressed fundraising as a systemic ecosystem challenge. Concluding the series, Shahrizan Abd Latif, Founder of Mindstraits Sdn Bhd, shared practical insights on transforming R&D outcomes into investable commercial enterprises and navigating key investor considerations, providing staff with a comprehensive view of technology commercialisation from laboratory development to market deployment.

MIMOS Holdings Sdn Bhd (MHSB) advanced its technology commercialisation drive by signing two major Technology Licensing Agreements (TLAs) in April 2026. The first agreement was formalised with SAF Dynamics on 10 April 2026 to establish a framework for shared technology and innovation goals, followed by a second signing with MySPARTIAL on 13 April 2026. Together, these consecutive partnerships highlight MHSB’s focus on transforming applied research into market-ready applications and accelerating the deployment of new technological solutions.

MIMOS advanced its role in national tech adoption and thought leadership with Encik Muhammad Hafiz Laili representing the organisation as a featured speaker at NextBigTech Asia 2026 (NBTA 2026) on 19 May 2026. In his presentation, Hafiz shared actionable strategies and industry insights on harnessing emerging technologies to drive sustainable technological co-creation.

MIMOS hosted an immersive Industrial Design Workshop on 6 April 2026 for 24 students and two senior academics from the Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysia-Italy Design Institute (UniKL MIDI). The full-day session was led by Saharuddin Busri (Senior Staff Engineer) and Mohd Nizam Najmuddin (Senior Engineer) from the Corporate Communication & Identity Department (CCID).

MIMOS Academy expanded its professional development footprint by rolling out a series of targeted training programmes throughout April and May 2026. The initiative began with an intensive, five-day Train-the-Trainer (TTT) Certified AI Trainer public course held from 20 to 24 April. This comprehensive programme was designed to equip educators with the specialised knowledge and teaching methodologies needed to deliver AI training, building a stronger foundation for technology adoption across the ecosystem.

MIMOS expanded its industry presence through participation in several key exhibitions and technical showcases across the energy, space, and technology sectors. The circuit began on 24 April 2026 at the OGSE Partners Day 2026, held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). The MIMOS booth drew a visit from Datuk Ir. Bacho Pilong, Senior Vice President of Malaysia Petroleum Management at PETRONAS, and he was briefed on the organisation’s latest localised industrial solutions.

MIMOS Berhad hosted two Tech Café sessions to enhance workplace productivity and digital skills. The first session on 13 March 2026, led by Muhammad Faris Mohd Emran and Megat Muhammad Daniel Azlinzal, demonstrated how Microsoft Copilot can support daily operational tasks and improve efficiency. The series continued on 28 April 2026 with a practical workshop titled ‘From Idea to Visual: A Simple Video Guide’, led by Muhammad Haziq Mohd Johan. This session focused on fundamental videography and corporate storytelling techniques to help staff produce balanced, high-quality video content for modern communication platforms.

MIMOS co-hosted SNOMED CT Awareness Day on 5 May 2026 to support developments in the nation’s medical technology landscape. Organised alongside the Ministry of Health (MOH), SNOMED International, Digital Health Malaysia, and MRANTI, the specialised workshop brought together healthcare industry players, medical professionals, and tech innovators to explore clinical terminology and the evolution of Malaysia’s digital health ecosystem.

MIMOS Technologies collaborated with industry partners to host a technical workshop on 13 May 2026, under the theme ‘NOW WE CAN: What New Submicron Infrared O-PTIR Can Do Beyond FT-IR Spectroscopy’. The session brought together researchers, scientists, and industry participants to discuss developments in material analysis and molecular characterisation.

MIMOS Academy hosted an instalment of its Leadership Unplugged Series 2026 on 19 May 2026, focusing on corporate strategy and growth. The session featured Encik Ahmad Rizan Ibrahim, Chairman of the Board of Directors of MIMOS Services Sdn Bhd, who delivered a presentation titled ‘Inside the IPO Journey: Leadership Insights Towards IPO Success’. The session provided a step-by-step overview of the process and requirements involved in becoming a publicly traded entity.

MIMOS staff attended a virtual integrity awareness session on 21 May 2026, led by Tuan Kamarul Zaman bin Mosman, Head of the Investigation and Forensics School at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Academy (MACA) and member of the Malaysia Polygraph Association (MYPA). The session, titled ‘Rasuah: Derhaka atau Daulat’, aimed to strengthen organisational transparency by enhancing understanding of anti-corruption legislation, reviewing real-world case studies, and helping employees identify corporate crime risks in the workplace.

Nominated by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), MIMOS represented Malaysia at the ASEAN–ROK STI Cooperation Forum 2026 and the 2nd ASEAN–ROK Retreat Meeting in Bangkok, Thailand, from 28 to 29 May 2026.

MIMOS Berhad propelled its role as a premier driver of technological thought leadership by participating in the high-profile Innovation Conference 2026, held at the Penang Skills Development Centre (PSDC) from 3 to 4 June 2026. Centred around the pivotal question, ‘How do we move from talking about innovation to truly running it?’, the event united industry speakers, practitioners, and experts from Malaysia, Australia, and Japan.

MIMOS organised a Hari Kekeluargaan & Kebersamaan on 14 April 2026, bringing staff together to strengthen internal unity and workplace camaraderie. The Kelab Kebajikan & Rekreasi MIMOS (KRIMS) and KRIMS Ventures organised a series of welfare and community activities to support staff well-being and strengthen workplace camaraderie. The initiatives began during Ramadan on 11 March 2026, with KRIMS collaborating with Surau MIMOS, Adabi, and Mas Awana to distribute Bubur Lambuk and Bubur Pulut Hitam to staff.

Surau MIMOS, in strategic collaboration with the Group Corporate Human Capital (GCHC) department, hosted a profoundly inspiring spiritual discourse titled Ceramah Perdana Akhir Ramadan on 11 March 2026. The event featured a well-known speaker, Brother Firdaus Wong, who delivered a thought-provoking lecture centred on the theme ‘Soalan Bocor Padang Mahsyar’.

The health programme began on 3 April 2026, when the Group Corporate Human Capital (GCHC) department organised the ‘Future-Ready Vision: Protecting Your Sight in the Digital Era’ briefing.

Surau MIMOS and the Group Corporate Human Capital (GCHC) department collaborated on 16 April 2026 to host a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony and Hajj send-off at MIMOS Berhad. The event brought the workplace community together to mark the completion of Quranic recitations during the holy month of Ramadan, reflecting the organisation’s support for communal harmony and spiritual well-being.

The event provided an opportunity for the organisation to engage with job seekers, industry professionals, and graduates interested in the national technology sector.
